Founded in the 1940s by Persian Jews, our synagogue was established to create a spiritual home where traditions could be upheld and passed down. After World War II, we welcomed Hungarian Holocaust survivors, enriching our community with their resilience and history.
Today, we embrace Jews from all walks of life, regardless of origin, financial capability, or prior knowledge. Our vibrant congregation is united by the goal of enhancing Torah learning and observance. We offer a wide range of programs, from educational classes and study groups to cultural events and social gatherings, ensuring there is something for everyone.
Our motto, "Enhancement of Torah learning and observance regardless of financial capability or country of origin or prior knowledge," reflects our core values. We remove barriers to participation, offering financial assistance for membership dues and programs to ensure inclusivity.
As we honor our past, we look forward to a future of unity and spiritual growth. Join us in a welcoming atmosphere where every Jew can find a home, reconnect with their roots, and deepen their understanding of Torah. Together, we can build a brighter, more inclusive future.
At JCCQ Zichron K’Doshim, we provide a safe, warm, and inclusive environment for prayer, worship, and life events. Our synagogue, with its rich history, is a key gathering place in the Jewish Community Center of Queens, preserving our identity and teachings.
We welcome all, regardless of background or financial capability, and offer programs for spiritual growth, educational classes, cultural events, and social gatherings. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to connect with their heritage and grow spiritually.
As President, I strive to uphold our cherished memories, beliefs, and hopes, offering guidance through Torah study and Jewish thought. Our synagogue nurtures faith and hopes for a peaceful world with justice for all. We actively work to remove barriers, offering financial assistance to ensure inclusivity.
Our synagogue stands as a testament to unity and resilience, supporting members during life's milestones and challenges. Rabbi Blum and I are always here for you. Join us in building a sanctuary where Hashem may dwell among us, enriching our lives and community.
